Being a constant traveller on the road, there is nothing I know better than hotels. But of all the hotels that I have ever stayed in, I simply cannot recall any specific hotel that leaves me with an unforgettable experience, while at the same time makes me feel like at home. Not until I stayed in a small boutique hotel in Taiwan - where bell boys always knew me by name, told the taxi driver where I needed to go without any prompting on my part, and brought me a homemade cake when I came back hungry at midnight. I then realised what made a difference in a hotel - the personalised services.

As always, start with the best and most convenient location because, like you, I want everything and everywhere to be just around the corner -- and if a place is not near, I want to be able to get there in a flash. Mingle Place Eden/Noah is situated right at Central and a mere 2 minutes' walk from Sheung Wan Station, which is the terminus of all MTR (subway) lines. Moreover, it is also literally minutes' walk from the Airport Express terminal, terminus of all ferry lines and jet-foil sevices, all the best restaurants and bars, all the best shopping malls, the most exotic Chinese cultural sites, and all the financial and business buildings that matter. Literally, the hotel is the nexus of all commercial, recreational and transportation facilities in Hong Kong. You don't get any more convenient than this place!

"Noah" rooms are so-called because a few of them are designed in an "ark-like" (or boat-like) decor. Staying in one of these rooms become a fun experience, but these few rooms are rare and upon availability only, so specify when you make your booking!

There are things you take for granted in a Mingle Place Group hotel -- like FREE high-speed broadband Internet access (there is a network jack on each desk for Noah Rooms) and complete FREE Wi-Fi coverage wherever you walk (available to all rooms).

A DVD player is also provided in every Noah Room, just for you to watch whatever you want to watch, whenever you want to do so!

Two fully-equipped PC's with high-speed Internet connections and full suite of office productivity apps. Printing, copying and fax services also available (charges apply).

Wi-Fi (802.11n) coverage is complete in all the guest rooms (ask the front desk for Wi-Fi access codes). High-speed wired Internet connection is also standard in each guest room.

Getting There
Fastest way is to use the Airport Express train to Hong Kong station and then taxi to No.148 Wellington Street. The cost is around HK$130 (including Airport Express ticket).

Alternatively, transfer from the Airport Express to the MTR Island Line (which terminates at Sheung Wan Station). The Sheung Wan MTR (subway) Station is only 5 minute's walk from the hotel. Take E2 exit, walk through the Grand Millennium Plaza, cross Queen's Road Central, then walk up half a block on Wellington Street.
