KARAVOS Coast is a natural park, where vertical suspended rocks, insulate a private strategic place to observe the middle of Mediterranean sea, and form a fiord in the sea, a starting place for quick visits, where 300 years ago was a landmark of Pirates
In this natural and social environment, the visitors of the KALYSPO CRETAN VILLAGE RESORT & SPA can stay as long they want, as the modern establishments in combination with some special programs could make them feel different vivid thoughts and senses.
In respect to nature, the Hotel has only 125 bungalows, all according to the local architecture, up to 35 m² each, with modern facilities and all with sea view balcony or terrace.
Hotel also offers: two restaurants with big verandas and a marvellous view, three bars, Disco, Pirates style café, a mini market, the boutique CRETA NATURA, 1 tennis court and 1 volley ball area.
Further, there is a SPA room 200sm with a lot of programs for health and beauty and provides (hamam, sauna, Jacuzzi, massage, jet set, therapies, etc.), and a Conference Room, of 180 persons. In natural park “Karavos Coast” (inside the hotel installations) three outdoor pools (500sm, 160sm, 110sm each and an indoor heated pool with Jacuzzi all with sea water, create a cool surround with enjoyable games.
At the Pirates port our clients could enjoy safely the sea sports and specially DIVING, which operate according to the specifications of PADI. Within this proper atmosphere and in a paradise nature, starting some times from Kalypso and walking across to small rivers and paths, hotel direction organizes with experienced guides, excursions, nice walks, bicycle tours and climbing around the area.
A professional animation team organizes the entertainment of our clients and at the open-air Ancient Greek Theatre with the impressive atmosphere, they can enjoy the various performances and the animation shows.
The hotel also organize excursions, rent cars and as it is located in the middle of South Crete, our clients have the possibility to visit easily the around area, as also the all over Crete area.

Business Facilities
Built in 2006 on top of the hill with a view to the open sea the Kalypso Conference Centre includes all the latest technology in order to satisfy the most demanding clientele.

Situated on the Ground floor of the Conference Centre and with a maximum capacity of 200 persons and completely computerized, the conference room is equipped with two projectors and a 2X3M screen, a laptop, a giant plasma TV, a DVD/CD player, a photocopy machine, 14 microphones connected to a central console and loudspeakers throughout the conference room. All this equipment is connected to a central computer, giving the Conference Room an enormous flexibility.

Located at the first floor of the Conference Centre, the café and terrace are the ideal place for a coffee break or a snack. The breathtaking view and the warm decoration are the elements which will make participants feel relaxed and comfortable.

Driving directions to Kalypso Cretan Village from Chania International Airport
Head northwest on to Airport of Chania. Slight left at Soudas - Pithariou. Turn left to stay on that road and then turn left at Konstantinou Karamanli road. Turn right at Route 90/E75 and turn left to stay on Route 90/E75. Take the ramp onto National road of Chania. Continue straight onto National road Rethimnou. Turn right toward Episkopis-Argiroupoelos and turn left toward Episkopis-Argiroupoleos. Turn right at that road and continue on to National road. Turn left at old national road Chanion-Rethimnou and turn right at Episkopis-Roustikas. Slight right at Agiou Ioanni-Roustikon and slight right to stay on that road. Turn right at Agiou Ioanni-Mirthiou and turn right at Rethimnou-Plakia. Turn left to stay on that road. Slight right and turn right. Hotel will be on the right.
