Roxani Hotel is situated in Amoudara, a lovely tourist resort with a beautiful kilometer long beach just 6 km west of Heraklion and only 200m far from a well organized sandy beach. Along the street are also souvenir shops, taverns, restaurants and bars, and in the evening one goes along here for a stroll.
It offers a beautiful view to the mountains where Rogdia is built in terraces and with a panoramic view. From here a walk to the higher situated monastery of Savvathiana is worthwhile. There is a medical center and the local bus service provides regular connections to the centre of Heraklion and airport every 15 minutes.

On leaving Heraklion International Airport Nea Alikarnassos head southeast on Leoforos Ikarou toward Aerodromiou 350 m. Take the 1st right onto Leoforos G. Senetaki 500 m. Slight right to merge onto Route 90/E75 7.0 km. Take the exit toward Tympaki/Irakleio/Moires 260 m. Turn left at Men. Parlama 210 m. Continue onto Leoforos Parlama 250 m. Turn left at Leoforos 62 Martyron 8 m. Take the exit toward Leoforos 62 Martyron 250 m. Continue straight onto Leoforos 62 Martyron 700 m. Continue onto Andrea Papandreou and after approximately 1.3 km you will reach the hotel.
