HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT:

Hotel Mini Bus
Pick-up service from the airport is provided for all our guests from Monday to Friday ith our 13-seater mini bus which follows a fixed departure schedule (click to view Mini-Bus schedule). Guests are advised to make seat booking arrangements well in advance. For further questions, please contact the Reservations Department.

Public Bus
You may use the Express X96 bus. The bus runs every 25 minutes, 24 hours a day. The bus terminal at the airport is outside Exit No 4. The fare is approximately 3,00 Euros per person and tickets should be bought from the bus driver. If you use this service, get off at “Glyfada 4th Bus Stop”. The Emmantina Hotel is only 100 meters away from this bus stop.

Taxis
Taxis are available right outside the airport. The taxi fare to reach the Emmantina hotel is approximately 25 Euros. There is a supplementary charge for each item of luggage.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS

If you intend to hire a car, it will be useful to print and carry a map with you. Refer to the 'Maps' section on this website. Emmantina hotel is located on Possidonos Ave., which is the main road leading from Athens or Piraeus to Glyfada. Our hotel is situated on the right hand-side of Possidonos Avenue on the way to central Athens, just 200m from Glyfada Square.

From the airport: Get onto "Attiki Odos" and initially follow signs to "Athens", then signs to "Vari" and then signs to "Glyfada". This will bring you onto "Leoforos Possidonos" which is the main coastal highway which leads into Glyfada. The hotel is situated 200m past "Glyfada Square" on the right side of "Leoforos Possidonos" at no 33.

From Athens Center (downtown): Initially follow signs to "Sygrou Avenue" and then signs to "Glyfada". This will bring you onto "Leoforos Possidonos" which is the main coastial highway which leads into Glyfada. The hotel is situated 200m before "Glyfada Square" on the left side of "Leoforos Possidonos" at no 33.

From the Port of Piraeus: Initially follow signs to "Faliron" and then signs to "Glyfada". This will bring you onto "Leoforos Possidonos" which is the main coastial highway which leads into Glyfada. The hotel is situated 200m before "Glyfada Square" on the left side of "Leoforos Possidonos" at no 33.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION-GENERAL INFORMATION

Buses
Many public buses run along the main road (Leoforos Possidonos) outside the hotel every 15 minutes. The bus to Athens downtown is marked A2. The bus to the port of Pireaus is marked A1. For bus tickets contact the front desk.

Taxis
You can either flag down taxis on the main street in front of the hotel or you can request the front desk staff to call or book a radio-taxi. Taxis are readily available. The fare to Athens is approximately 10 Euros. The minimum fare is: 1.50 Euros. Meter starts at 0.75 Euros. Radio-taxis charge an additional 1.30 Euros. For scheduled taxi appointments there is an extra charge of Euros: 2.20. For each baggage weighing over 10kg Euros 0.29 is charged. From midnight to 05:00 hrs. taxi fares are double of what they are during the rest of the day. During the Christmas and Easter periods a special seasonal tariff is introduced and given to the driver as a gift.
