MERCURE TRIER PORTA NIGRA. . The Mercure Hotel Trier Porta Nigra is located in the historic center directly opposite the world-famous Porta Nigra, at the entrance to the pedestrian area. All nine of the city's World Heritage Site memorials are a short walk away. The main train statio n is also just a short stroll away, while the Simeonplatz bus stop is just 110 yards from the hotel, providing a perfect link to the public transport network. The hotel can also be accessed easily from Luxemburg airport-just 30 minutes away-and the A602.
