Overview
Shanghai-based URBN Hotels & Resorts is a boutique hotel and resort company created by innovative property developers Scott Barrack and Jules Kwan. Its first hotel, URBN Hotel, Shanghai is a renovated factory warehouse which features 26 design and earth friendly rooms. URBN Hotels & Resorts aims to develop and operate innovative, stylish hotels which combine locally sourced and recycled materials with modern architecture and design to create contemporary spaces inspired by China’s past, present and future. It is also China’s first carbon neutral hotel development company.

Our restaurant, Downstairs with David Laris, is now open to all in house guests for breakfast. We are in the final stages of renovation at URBN which means there is some light construction noise during the day. The grand opening of the restaurant is scheduled for mid April.

? Via Airport Shuttle Bus: From Pudong Airport, find the closest exit to Airport Shuttle Bus Stop Terminals. Take Bus number 2, this stops at Jing An Temple Station. 5 minute walk to URBN Hotel through Yuyuan Road, perpendicular to JiaoZhou Road. RMB 19.
