Overview

Comfortable and spacious, or house is decorated stylishly and warmly; the wood takes centerplace, fusing both classical and modern.
Illuminated and ample, our hostel is a unique place in the city. The building is large and divided in two levels, 15 rooms with wooden floors and beautiful details. In addition, it has a terrace on the top.
Our location is privileged, San Antonio with Ismaél Valdés Street, next to the forest park; very near to the historic neighborhood of Santiago. Allowing that the tourist can easily accessible places typical of the city, such as: market Central, Plaza de Armas, Cerro San Cristóbal, pre-Columbian Museum, Cerro Santa Lucía, Bellavista (Patio), Bellavista La Chascona (Pablo Neruda), La piojera, Centro Mall, Board of Trustees, flag, La Moneda, Santiago Cathedral, Paseo Ahumada, Estación Mapocho, supermarkets, banks, among others.

Casaltura has computers with internet (for free), wi-Fi for free in the comunal spaces, is very near to ATMs, Banks, museums and is located in the heart of the Downtown Santiago of Chile.

Getting There
From the Arturo Merino Benitez airport:

3 options:

Shuttle bus. Two bus lines drop you at downtown Santiago: Buses Centropuerto and Tur Bus Aeropuerto. Both arrive at the Los Heroes subway station. Take the yellow line subway (line 2) toward Vespucio Norte, and exit at Cal y Canto station. Walk East for Ismael Valdes Vergara street, toward los Andes mountains, for 3 blocks, until San Antonio street. CasAlturA is in the corner of San Antonio and Ismael Valdes Vergara.

Official Shuttle (Transfer Delfos). If you wish, contact us previous to your arrival and we will set up you pickup at the airport.

Taxi. It may be less expensive than the shuttle, but we do not recommend it: occasionally taxi drivers take advantage of the tourists.

From the bus terminal:

2 options:

Subway. Take the red line (line 1) toward Escuela Militar. Switch to line 2 (yellow) in Los Heroes station, toward Vespucio Norte. Exit at Cal y Canto station. Walk East for Ismael Valdes Vergara street, toward los Andes mountains, for 3 blocks, until San Antonio street. CasAlturA is in the corner of San Antonio and Ismael Valdes Vergara.

Taxi. Shouldn't be more than USD 10 (CLP$5.000) from door to door.
