Getting There
International travellers should arrange to fly into the Calgary International Airport (YYC) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

Driving from Calgary to Banff:
If driving from Calgary to Banff, take the Trans-Canada Highway (also called Highway 1 as indicated on the Google map above) west to the Banff exit, and follow the signs a short distance to Banff townsite. Approximate distance from the Calgary International Airport to the Banff townsite is 145 km (90 miles). Allow 1.5 - 2 hours of driving time.By zooming out 5 or 6 times on the Google map at the top of this page, you can see the entire driving route from Calgary to Banff.
