Wake up and enjoy a delicious country breakfast on the veranda or in the Banquet Room (continental, fruit and full cooked b'fast) and sit on the wide verandah to read your daily newspaper. We also offer delicious dinners and massage if required. Beautiful old fashioned roses and chocolates can be arranged for that special occassion.
Just one hours drive from Brisbane via the Cunningham Highway or one hour from the Gold Coast you will find yourself in a peaceful, picturesque valley, able to unwind from hectic city life.
Facilities at Wiss House include an ornate Banquet Room with crystal chandelier, fine china and silverware, where guests can dine on a three course meal prepared by our talented chef or be served a fully cooked breakfast.
The four guest rooms are fully air-conditioned and tastefully decorated in antiques with luxury bedding. French doors open onto wide verandahs. There is a guest lounge with tv and dvd library and book library. Access to the internet is available.
From our verandahs are magnificent views of the picturesque Scenic Rim mountain ranges, where you can sit back and enjoy afternoon tea or watch our clear starry night sky. Guests can also enjoy a luxurious massage either in room or by the pool. The classic pool is set in mature gardens and has a spa.
The many places to discover include wineries, cafes, art gaslleries, 5 national parks, prolific bird life, heritage trails,waterfalls,scenic flights, country markets, antique shops and lots more.

Getting There
By car it takes one hour from Brisbane down the Ipswich Motorway onto the Cunningham Motorway.
From the Gold Coast, drive through Nerang, Cunungra, Beaudesert and Boonah to Kalbar.
