Overview
Winterhaus Lodge, Thredbo's haus for all seasons is located on the Alpine Way Thredbo overlooking the Thredbo Village and Mountain. The lodge offers spacious rooms, bbq, open fire place, limited parking and a friendly warm environment. Enjoy a glass of wine and a cheeseboard and overlook the mountain from our guest lounge and balcony. The Winterhaus Lodge has some of the best views of Thredbo. We offer a BYO bar, (bring your own alcohol), open fire place, guest lounge with views as pictured and a balcony to relax upon. This property may not be suitable for elderly people as stairs are involved in accessing the property.

Getting There
DRIVING: THREDBO is around 5 hours drive from Sydney or Melbourne, however during Winter it is necessary to check road conditions prior to travelling and also chains may be required. All cars entering the Kousciusko National Park are required to pay a park entry fee of $27.00 per day or an annual pass is $190.00. This is payable upon entry.
COACH: Variety of coaches operate from both Sydney and Canberra including Transboarder Express and Greyhound.
Virgin Blue and Qantas service Canberra Airport from major Australian cities. Canberra Airport is 2 1/2 hours from Thredbo. Shuttle transfers to and from Canberra Airport can be arranged and major car hire companies also operate from Canberra.
Parking Info
Limited reserved guaranteed parking available for $15 per day. Should you wish to book one of these please contact the hotel directly after making your reservation. All other guests will be required to park in the Thredbo Overnight Carpark a short driver away. There is not sufficient parking onsite for all guests.
