Wild Patch Retreat offers modern, luxury accommodation in two beautiful separate residences set among giant Mountain Ash trees on the property of gourmet chocolate maker, Wild Patch Chocolates. They offer lots of space, fabulous outlook, huge decks and large windows in every room.

'Chocolate Studio' is a separate, fully self-contained modern studio that's perfect for couples wanting a romantic getaway. The king bed can also be split into two king singles if required. It features large picture windows, a private rear deck, full modern kitchen with stone bench tops, cosy Connara wood fire and reverse cycle air conditioning keeping you snug in winter and cool in summer.

'Chocolate Retreat' is a modern, contemporary-styled, open-plan three bedroom house designed for you to relax and rejuvenate, with everything you'll need for a midweek break or weekend getaway with your partner, family or group of friends. It sleeps up to six adults and is suitable for families with children. North-facing, with expansive decks front and back, the front deck runs the full width of the house and the large rear deck is built around one of the many massive Mountain Ash trees on the property. Large picture windows and glass doors leading onto the decks from the master bedroom, lounge and kitchen. Large Coonara wood fire as well as central heating, deep bath with 'waterfall' spout and head rest and separate shower.

Set on the property of Wild Patch Chocolates, you'll be pampered with hand-crafted Belgian chocolates or you can wander down the path to our commercial kitchens and learn to make your own chocolates! We also made our own home-baked bread, have beautiful exotic chickens that provide free-range eggs or can be hand-fed and we're only a five minute walk to the Olinda township, at the top of the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Recently opened in 2011, we are already getting rave revues by our guests impressed with the beauty, detail and all the extras being offered with their accommodation that makes Wild Patch Retreat a unique experience.

If there's anything you require during your stay, you just need to ask. We live on-site and will be happy to show you our chocolate kitchens, give you information about the area, provide daily housekeeping or give you full privacy - as much or as little as you require.

Getting There
Drive to the main township of Olinda and turn onto Range Road, then take Dodds Street (first on the left), and then Nicholson Street (first on the right).

You can also take the train to Croydon Station and then a bus to Olinda; accommodation is a five minute walk from the bus stop.
