Overview
Whitsunday Sands Resort is like you are on an island on the mainland. Paradise has never been so easy and affordable! There are 30 motel units and 14 self-contained units and we are AAA rated at 3* Star.

Motel units have excellent ocean views, with ground level units offering beach frontage and those upstairs offering balcony ocean views. The motel units are fully air conditioned and have Austar TV. A refrigerator, toaster, microwave, tea/coffee making facilities, crockery and cutlery are also provided. These rooms overlook Grays Bay.
Our motel 3* Star kitchenette units have all of the above facilities as well as containing a two burner hot plate. The rooms have a private bathroom with shower. All these units have large balconies and great views of Horseshoe Bay. Our two upper level units have spas and the two ground level units accommodate disabled guests.

The one bedroom 3 Star self-contained units have split system air conditioners in the lounge area as well as the bedroom and dishwashers and washing machines as extras to the other units. All you need to bring is your family and your food.

There are water and ocean views from all motel units, and the reef is only 50 meters off shore. It's just meters stroll to beaches and 200 metres to the local boat ramp.

Restaurant Opened Monday - Saturday for Breakfast & Dinner.

We are 8km from the main street of Bowen (Herbert Street). Just follow the signs that say "beach resorts" and Horseshoe Bay. We are located at the end of Horseshoe Bay Road.
