There are two lovely garden walks and, within the grounds, there are the ruins of the flourmill a mill dating from 1820, the first flour mill in the district. Yet only 40mins to the World Heritage areas, a great place to use as a base to explore. Hobart is 30 minutes away & 45minutes to the airport.

The Granary, originally built in 1822, was the grain store for the old mill. It now functions as a self-catering, quaint stone cottage of two stories, one bedroom, double and single bed, lounge, shower & full kitchen.
Breakfast is served in the original kitchen with its stone flagged floor.

Getting There
From the Hobart Airport, take second exit onto the Tasman Highway which will lead you to the Tasman Bridge (towards Hobart) Exiting Tasman Bridge bear left toward Glenorchy and Launceston via Queens Domain Bear left after the overpass to Brooker Avenue (A1) toward Launceston Bear left at Granton changing to Lyell Highway (A10) toward New Norfolk Entering New Norfolk,we are the 3rd street on the right.(Tynwald Road)Proceed 600mt on an unsealed road to arrive at your destination.
