Overview
The Railway Lodge Motel is located a short 1-minute walk from the Taree CBD and not situated on the highway, where you will find modern shopping and sporting facilities, clubs, restaurants and quaint cafes. It is also a 1-minute walk from the local hospital and public transport.

This newly renovated lodge has alot of history, being the original barracks for the train drivers 50 years ago, and has been renovated with mostly antique recycled materials.

Our affordable prices does not reflect on the quality and service.There are a combination of single, double and family rooms throughout, with spacious outdoor areas for enjoying the beautiful weather. All rooms have their own en suite, and are fitted with all brand new air conditioning, LCD TV, a fridge and coffee and tea facilities. Free Wi-Fi is also included for all guests, as well as complimentary laundry facilities and free parking.

Taree is located on the beautiful Mid North Coast, just three hours north of Sydney. Located on the banks of the Manning River, Taree is the perfect holiday destination for couples and families alike.

At the heart of the Manning Valley, Taree is a very short drive from surrounding towns and villages, including Wingham, Cundletown, Harrington, Forster, Tuncurry, Old Bar, and Crowdy Bay.

Getting There
Follow Commerce Street over the Manning River then turn into Victoria Street. Turn left onto Manning Street and we are at number 99A. The Motel is located behind the Taree railway station. We are one block from the main shopping centre.
