LATEST NEWS - Major refurbishments completed and we now offer beautiful designer rooms, from our King Bayview to Spa Studios. All rooms feature brand new pillow top beds and LCD TV's. Our pool has just been re-modelled and is solar and electric heated to around 28 degrees.

The Nelson Resort is your most convenient Nelson Bay accommodation, located in the heart of Nelson Bay. We overlook the park and marina to the water beyond! Plus fabulous beaches are only minutes walk away, along with the marina and it's great bars and restaurants. Stroll to the shops, movies or for coffee. Nelson Bay is only 45 minutes drive from Newcastle and 2 1/2 hours from Sydney. Most rooms feature private balconies, some with views through the park towards the marina and Nelson Bay. We have a wide variety of clean, bright and airy accommodation, including Standard, Deluxe Spa rooms, Family Rooms and Apartments. Getting There
Port Stephens Coaches travel daily to Nelson Bay from Sydney leaving Central Station and stopping along the way. Travel by car is an easy 2 1/2 hour drive along the F3 freeway. Nelson Lodge is located 100m from the d'Albora Marinas. Directions for travel by car:
*Take the F3 north from Sydney
*At the end of the freeway at the roundabout take the Pacific Highway towards Taree.
*Go over the Hexham bridge, travel 1km and take the right turn onto Tomago Road.
*Follow to the roundabout intersecting Nelson Bay Road and turn left. Follow this road through to Nelson Bay.
