Overview
The Metropole Katoomba offers 24 rooms with ensuites and is located within a two minute walk from Katoomba Railway station.
Linen is provided for your stay and rooms are serviced daily. Rooms feature tea/coffee making facilities and mini bar, heating, electric blankets, ceiling fans and TV.
We have an onsite licensed Restaurant and breakfast and dinner can also be provided. There is a guest laundry and we offer limited off-street parking at the rear of the guesthouse.
From the Metropole, it's only a stroll to the centre of Katoomba's CBD with its restaurants, cafes, hotels, public transport and tourist attractions.

Getting There
The Blue Mountains are on 90 minutes from downtown Sydney and can be reached by car, rail, shuttle and scheduled services.
By Road - The most direct approach to the Blue Mountains is via the M4 motorway leading you from the outskirts of Sydney to the base of the Blue Mountains at Lapstone or use the Bell's Line of road via Windsor and Richmond as an alternative route.
By Train - Taxis, limousines, the Airport Rail Link, Sydney Airport buses and courtesy buses travel from Sydney International Airport to Central Railway Station where trains to the Blue Mountains leave Sydney Central Station, departing platforms 12 and 13 hourly, usually stopping at Strathfield, Parramatta, Penrith and all stations to Springwood, Katoomba, Mt Victoria or Lithgow.
By Coach - You can travel to the Blue Mountains by using the daily GX255 service of Greyhound Pioneer or McCaffertys Coaches, departing Sydney from Eddy Avenue and setting down in Katoomba at the E & W bus stop on the Great Western Highway or at Lithgow McDonald's.
