Valerie and Deane welcome you to come and stay a while and enjoy the restful sleep of those who live underground, the rooms of Comfort Inn Coober Pedy Experience are built into an old mine.

We are ideally situated within walking distance from the CBD. Town/Mine/Breakaway Tour reservations can also be made at our reception desk. The Desert Sea Collection is on display in our Opal Room - don't leave town without one of our exquisite opals from our very own Opal Room.

Getting There
You must inform us how you are arriving so we can be prepared. There are no taxis in town. It is 10km from the airport and 45km from the train.

By car - follow the blue Comfort Inn street signs. From Stuart Highway turn into Hutchinson Street. Turn right into Umoona Road then take the second right into Crowder Gully Road. The motel is 100 meters down the road.

By bus - Greyhound offer service in and out of Coober Pedy - phone and we will pick you up.

By train - Gahn - we must be informed when making a reservation.

By plane - phone when you arrive and we will pick you up.
