Getting There
The Astor Apartments are located at Spring Hill, 1 block north of Central Rail Station. FROM DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL AIRPORTS follow signs to City. From the motorway/freeway you will follow a City sign exit left that will get you onto Kingsford Smith Drive (UBD map141). Proceed along Kingsford Smith Drive continuing with the Brisbane river immediately on your left (UBD map140). At Newstead veer left onto Breakfast Creek Road which becomes Ann Street (its one way - you are now in the city). Continue along Ann Street through a five-way intersection moving to the right hand lane (UBD map160). Turn right into Wharf Street and left into Astor Terrace. Astor Apartments is 300 metres on the left (UBD map 159). Approx $30 by taxi. The closest major intersection is Upper Edward Street and Astor Terrace.
