Overview
Tall Timbers Tasmania is a stunning and unique property, a true showcase for the local district set in a rural setting only a short walk to the town centre.

It is a mecca for visitors and locals alike, sixteen local timbers are used in the foyer and warm panels are used on the walls of the reception area, huge open fire places fashioned of local stone giving a feeling of being welcome.

The rustic charm of the exterior is complemented by the magnificent, landscaped gardens and well manicured lawns.

The Kauri Bistro has an excellent menu which features local produce seafood, beef, lamb & cheeses to mention a few. The newest addition to the Bistro are pizza's and there are a selction of traditional and gourmet toppings on the menu.

For that special occasion Greys Function room is a perfect venue for groups up to 40 persons, alternatively Brittons Function Centre is great for groups of 40 to 250 persons.
Millers Bar or Gunns Lounge Bar are the ideal area to relax and enjoy the ambience of this beautifully appointed complex. Also for the punter visit Howie’s Oasis Gaming Room with Tas Keno and Video Gaming Machines.

This lovely country retreat also has two tennis courts, dam and stream for the trout fishermen and includes guest passes to the local golf course, a barbecue area is provided and barbecue packs are available from reception.

The complex features 67 well appointed units consisting of Execautive units, 1 & 2 bedroom apartments, self-contained apartments suitable for families, and standard classic style units with a spacious laundry facility on site.

Tall Timbers is located on the outskirts of the township of Smithton which is 10 minute drive from the historicial township of Stanley, 60 minutes drive from Burnie and 90 minute drive from Devonport home of Spirit 1 & 11.
