Summit Ridge has a prime location on the highest street in Falls Creek and provides ski in ski out access, quiet seclusion and spectacular views. Exclusive Mezzanine Suites offer king beds and a full size bathroom with a bath to soak in. Summit Ridge is one of Australias's truly fine alpine lodges and the perfect place to enjoy your high country experience. Summit Ridge provides guests a high standard of hospitality and service in a boutique lodge with a AAA Tourism four star rating. We have 19 rooms and include dinner (2 course a la carte) bed and breakfast (cooked & continental) in our room rates during the winter season.

Getting There
Falls Creek is located in North East Victoria approximatley 350 kms or 4½ hours from Melbourne.
The road to Falls Creek in Winter is safe and cleared of snow constantly, chains are rarely fitted. Carrying chains, however is compulsory regardless of the weather conditions. Chains can be hired at Ski Shops and Service Stations in Mt Beauty.

From Melbourne - approximately 350kms or 4½ hours
From Sydney - approximately 690kms or 8 hours
From Adelaide - approximately 1000kms or 11 hours
From Canberra - approximately 400kms or 5 hours
From Brisbane - approximately 1400kms or 16 hours
The resort entry fee is paid at the Howmans Gap gate and allows vehicle entry to the resort. Car parking attendants will direct you to the Oversnow Terminal and are on duty until midnight and 2.00am on Saturdays to help you park your car and then return you to the Oversnow Terminal for your transport to Summit Ridge. The Oversnow Transport will ferry you and your luggage to Summit Ridge as during Winter the roads are used as ski trails and are closed to normal vehicles.
The Oversnow Transport fees are as follows $32.20 per adult return and $21.50 per child return. The Oversnow Transport operates until late, seven days a week in winter.
Parking Info
Car parking during winter is directed by Falls Creek Resort Management staff. A resort entry fee of $31 per night is charged for all vehicles in Winter. During the Summer period guests can drive directly to Summit Ridge.
