Overview
Strathvea, a 1920's jazz era guest house, is surrounded by English gardens, mountain ash and tree fern forest. It is ideal for romantic getaways or a relaxing holiday with family. This unique bed and breakfast stay has four spacious modern rooms, or two cosy heritage rooms depending upon your needs.
A three course country breakfast is cooked for you with local and organic ingredients, while you dine in the dining room watching the native parrots out the window.
Relax by the crackling fire in the lounge, catch up on some reading in the library or enjoy a Yarra Valley wine on our wide verandah overlooking the gardens.
A short drive away, guests will find a host of fine Yarra Valley wineries, markets, shops and restaurants. Or, if you???re part of a large group, Deanne will cook up a hearty farmhouse dinner (by prior arrangement).
There are plenty of rainforest walks nearby. Just ask Toby and he will supply you with plenty of maps.
