Overview
Surrounded by the calm waters of the bay and located only 10 minutes from the facilities and attractions of Nelson Bay is Soldiers Point Holiday Park. Completely refurbished and redeveloped the park has 45 camping sites offering unbelievable water views from all of the tent sites and a choice of headland or water views from one of the 33 luxury self contained villas. You can watch the sunset over the water from the comfort of your tent or Villa.

Calm pristine waters surround the park with safe sandy beaches for the kids to play on or alternatively you could go for a swim in the pool.

There is a Marina adjacent offering boat hire, fishing and boat ramp facilities.

Directly across from the park is a children’s play area and tennis courts for hire, nearby are cafes and take away conveniences.

Soldiers Point Holiday Park’s quiet relaxing atmosphere is perfect for that short break and even better for an extended stay.

Getting There
Just a 21/2 hour drive north of Sydney via the Newcastle Freeway will put you into the heart of Port Stephens. A coach service departs Eddy Ave, Central Station Sydney daily at 2.00pm for Port Stephens. This departs Port Stephens for Sydney at 9.00am daily. Flights are available daily to Newcastle Airport, Williamtown (25 minutes drive to Port Stephens) from Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney, Coolangatta, NSW North Coast (Taree, Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour).Trains are available to Newcastle Station. Buses connect with the trains for transfers to Port Stephens.
