Pure heaven for beach lovers, Smiths Beach Resort is perfectly positioned on the golden sands of Smiths Beach and in the heart of the Margaret River Wine Region, making it the ideal base from which to enjoy and explore all the region has to offer.
The resort offers a variety of accommodation options and styles of holiday to suit most guests who desire quality, comfort and style. For the economical benefit of guests, all rooms are fully self-contained with individual kitchen, dining, lounge and laundry facilities, or for guests who prefer to relax and be taken care of on holiday the resort also offers some of the finest food and beverage facilities in Western Australia.
Accommodation ranges from 4-star Beach Shacks ideal for families, to luxurious 5-star Apartments, Villas and Beach Houses.
All accommodation at Smiths Beach Resort is fully self-contained including kitchen and laundry facilities. As a consequence, rooms at Smiths beach Resort are not serviced daily.
For stays of less than 7 nights your room will not be serviced throughout your stay. For stays of 7 nights or more your room will be serviced mid way through your stay. Additional room servicing is available at an extra cost of $35.00 per bedroom by notifying reception. At least 24 hour notice should be provided.
The resort also features fabulous dining, bar and gourmet deli facilities managed by Lamonts, one of WA's premier restaurateurs and wine makers, a swimming pool and child's pool (non-heated), tennis court, and private conference facilities.
Only 10 minute drive from Smiths Beach is the popular holiday township of Dunsborough where you can wander many shops and boutiques and enjoy a variety of cafes, or to pick up provisions from one of the supermarkets here. Alternatively, 30 minutes drive south brings you to the township of Margaret River itself where again you can enjoy a number of restaurants, bars and shops.
In between these two townships and in easy accessibility to the Resort is where you’ll find most of the vineyards and wineries the region is synonymous with, many offering wonderful restaurant and cellar door wine tasting facilities. Dotted amongst the wineries are also numerous other places to visit such as olive oil producers, chocolate and cheese makers and various other fine produce and gourmet food suppliers. A great way to see the region is with a local tour company, or you can very easily drive yourself – the roads are picturesque and easy to find your way around.
Smiths Beach resort is also located on the world-renowned Cape to Cape Track, a popular walking trail running along the coast and offering all levels of walkers the opportunity to see some of the most amazing coastal scenery in Australia. Business Facilities
Conference facilities are available for up to 70 persons theatre style or 35 persons classroom style. Smiths Beach Resort welcomes the opportunity to tailor make arrangements to guest requirements.
All rooms excluding the Beach Shacks are equipped with high speed broadband and wireless internet. Our friendly staff at reception can help with all secretarial services.
Getting There
A 45 minute flight from Perth Airport or a relaxing 3 hour drive by limousine or private car.
From Perth city, head south on the Kwinana Freeway / Forrest Highway all the way to Bunbury (about 2 hours drive). Keep in the left lane through two round-abouts and follow the signs to Busselton (about 1 hour). Travel along the Busselton Bypass or take the more scenic route into Busselton township and follow the signs to Dunsborough. Continue past Dunsborough along Caves Rd towards Yallingup, and turn left at the old town hall just as you reach Yallingup. This is still Caves Rd. Follow this for a further 4km and turn right into Canal Rocks Rd. At the top of the hill turn right into Smiths Beach Rd, and the Resort is located at the bottom of the hill on your left.
Turn into the car park and the Reception office is directly in front of you.

Each unit has secure undercover parking, with the exception of the Beach Shacks that provide off street private parking only.
