Overview
Simpsons Hotel is an intimate 12 room B&B Boutique Hotel, situated within a restored 1892 Victorian mansion, and is very centrally located in leafy tree-lined Potts Point, the closest suburb east of the city, with many interesting restaurants and cafes nearby, yet only a 15 minute walk to the nightlife, bars and clubs of Oxford Street.
Best of all it is just a pleasant 15 minute stroll along the waterfront to the City, or via the beautifl Botanic Gardens to the Opera House, the Historic Rocks area, Circular Quay Harbour ferries to Taronga Zoo, Manly and Darling Harbour. The NSW Art Gallery, City Aquatic Centre, Queen Victoria Building and shopping boutiques and other tourist and business areas as well as all major museums are all within easy walking distance.
All our rooms have private ensuite bathrooms, queen or king beds, individually controlled air conditioning, ceiling fans, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, direct dial phones, modem points as well as windows that actually open.
Continental breakfast with fresh fruit, cereals, juices and toasts, tea and coffee is served in the sunny conservatory and the front lounge areas are always available for reading and evening socialising.
Simpsons is a "non smoking " hotel....we do have a covered in patio for smokers on the ground floor.

Getting There
From the airport: a twenty minute taxi ride, or by the airport stuttle bus which stops outside the hotel.
By train: a ten minute walk down Victoria Street from Kings Cross Station.
By car: Turn off William Street at the Kings Cross exit, Left onto Darlinghurst Road, Left (before the Crest Hotel) into Victoria Street, drive almost to the end, Right into Challis Avenue, the Hotel is 100M up on the left hand side .....drive into our driveway.
