Overview
Silk Pavilions is a luxurious Retreat set high on the hill overlooking the amazing vista of The Border Ranges and Mt. Warning. Choose either our stand alone Thai Pavilion or one of our fabulous ECO PAVILIONS. From your private deck you will not see one light for miles instead just a vista of trees, fields and mountains. This is peace and quiet at its best, where the only sounds you will hear are those of the birds and crickets! This area is the most bio-diverse region of Australia, and contains the largest sub-tropical rainforest remnant in the world, and the biggest extinct shield volcano in the world. Set amongst the 100 acres of tranquil bushland, lakes and natural rainforest our fabulous luxury tents are located only 50 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport and 45 minutes from Byron Bay.
If it is the Thai Pavilion you choose then think beautiful wooden floors, opulent Asian furnishings including a solid teak king size bed and large picture windows leading onto your large terrace overlooking the Border range and Mt Warning, tropical gardens ? with the state of the art amenities discretely infused with traditional materials and you have your very own ?SILK PAVILION?.
Private dining is available for both breakfast and dinner if required in your own private dining pavilion.
Sit back and relax whilst you enjoy the peace and solitude away from high speed Internet and hectic schedules. However should you require conveniences such as, wireless Internet connection, DVD and TV then the facility is in your pavilion, please feel free to use it!
Is one of our fabulous Eco Pavilions for you??
Relax and unwind in the seclusion of your own luxury pavilion where the emphasis is on comfort, relaxation and seclusion. An experience that is unlike any other. A fabulous way to get back to nature without compromising on life?s little luxuries!! With celebs such as Kate Moss, Peaches and Pixie Geldof choosing pavilions over a posh hotel, there is no doubt that ?glamping? is the new holiday choice!
With no telephones, TVs, CD players to distract you, your focus turns to the surrounding environment. Our concept is simple ? we have focussed on key creature comforts, a wonderful comfy king size bed (or twin beds), 100% cotton linen, large soft bath towels, a high pressure shower and a flushing toilet of course!! A chandelier over the top, custom made Indian Rugs add a touch of elegance and romance. If you should choose one of our luxury tents then you can lie in your private timber bathtub, surrounded by fragrant candles and take in the spectacular views. Each pavilion boasts total privacy and sits on a raised platform, one metre off the ground. Each pavilion is equipped with a BBQ, day bed, hammock, comfy chairs on your front and back verandas so you can take in the morning birdsong, or sit and be amused by our friendly wallabies or just lie there and take in the amazing views of the caldera?s natural beauty. We provide an informal level of attention that is only possible when you are one of a small number of guests. It is our knowledge of the area and absolute desire to make your stay memorable that brings the experience alive. !
For breakfast we deliver our complimentary delicious gourmet breakfast basket to your pavilion. Filled with organic muesli, seasonal fruits, homemade yoghurt, juice and freshly baked bread and jams. For dinner why not enjoy one of our fabulous optional DIY BBQ packs filled with locally sourced organic beef, chicken or fish, potato salad and green salad. Or if you prefer ?pick your own salad? from your very own veggie patch alongside your pavilion!! If you don?t wish to cook your own BBQ then for a small additional cost we can cook it all for you. It?s a great dinner experience which allows you to relax under the dark velvet night sky and be amazed by the sparkling light of millions of shining stars and the sounds of our wildlife.
The perfect retreat for honeymooners, executives, or the more discerning travellers. Staying in the Tweed Valley is a magical experience here at Silk Pavilions, unlike most Bed and Breakfast accommodation; you do have a choice of your own private stand alone Villa or secluded Eco Pavilion. To us, IT IS the best place on earth. Amazing views by day and star filled skies by night, where the only sounds you hear are those of the birds. We offer good old fashioned service at a nice slow pace which makes for a wonderfully relaxing experience. Birds tweeting in the trees, forever changing views over the mountains, mists in the hills, you are sure to think you are in Thailand and not in the amazing Tweed Valley.
Relax, relax, relax it what we sell! So whether you choose the Thai Pavilion or one of our fabulous Eco Pavilions you will enjoy the same ultimate luxury which we offer here at Silk Pavilions.
Come visit us, we would love to have you! Bookings essential!
