Overview
The Shelly Beach Motel has 13 individually decorated rooms to suit singles through to families. All rooms are semi self-contained with comfortable lounge chairs, air conditioning, flat screen TVs, fans, tea and coffee making facilities, and free wireless internet access. Second level rooms have private balconies; ground floor rooms have large courtyards. All rooms have patio settings with ocean views. Undercover parking and guest laundry facilities are available. Our large backyard provides space for boats and trailers, pet friendly, conditions and surcharges apply. Guests have access to the beautifully landscaped gardens, which include a BBQ area, complete with kitchen facilities. Restaurants and shops are a pleasant walk away, along the picturesque beachside esplanade. A courtesy bus is available for pick up to local clubs. Large group bookings available.

Getting There
By CAR - Hervey Bay is an easy 3 1/2 hour drive north of Brisbane on the Bruce Highway. Follow the signs at Maryborough. You will arrive on Boat Harbour Drive, follow that for approximately 7 kilometres until you reach the Esplanade, turn left and the Shelly Beach Motel is approximately 1 kilometre on the corner of Hockley Lane. By TRAIN - To Maryborough West with a Trainlink bus bringing you to Hervey Bay and onto the Motel.
By BUS - Greyhound to Hervey Bay.
By PLANE - Virgin fly direct from Sydney, QANTAS direct from Brisbane. Brisbane International Airport is 3 1/2 hours away. Airport pick-up from Hervey Bay airport is available upon request.

We have under cover off street parking. Plenty of room for boats and trailers.
