The Scarborough Observation Resort is a totally separate business to Sunmoon Resort, different services and policies apply for both resorts.

Located only 80 metres from the renowned Scarborough Beach, our resort offers both self catering apartment style accommodation and Motel Rooms with ensuite.

The restaurant is located at Sunmoon Resort which also has an internet cafe and tour desk.

Your Scarborough Beach vacation has you in walking distance to shops, cafes, bars, clubs and restaurants, with public transport right at your doorstep.

The resort has 8 two bedroom self-contained apartments, 5 villas, 8 motel rooms & 11 budget rooms.

Scarborough Observation Resort is surrounded by fun and attractions that are sure to make your stay even more enjoyable. Not only are you located only 100 metres from the beach, Scarborough is the doorway to endless summer activities and entertainment.

Meet and enjoy the company of fellow travellers from all over the world, including backpackers, couples, students and friendly families.

On the days to get away and explore, hop on the local bus and visit the exciting city of Perth, including Kings Park with its picturesque views and beautiful native wildflowers, or visit Fremantle - a cosmopolitan port full of activity and culture - both only 20 minutes from the resort.

It is essential to visit the popular Hillary's Marina, only 10 minutes away, home to the popular Sorrento Quay complex and AQUA Underwater World. See the bottle-nosed dolphins in the marina enclosure, or view over 4000 sea creatures from the submarine tunnel. From here you have the perfect location to jump aboard the ferry to Rottenest Island, world renowned for its quokkas, swimming, surfing and fishing.

Getting There
If arriving from the international or domestic airport take the airport shuttle bus to Perth. From Perth take number 400 bus, which departs from Wellington Street bus station platform D, stand 1, direct to Observation City, Scarborough Terminal.

Walk 100 metres north on West Coast Highway and the RECEPTION IS LOCATED AT Sunoon Resort adjacent to Scarborough Observation Resort. Hotel rooms at 194 West Coast Hwy and the Villas and Apartments at 190 West Coast Hwy cnr Manning St traffic lights.
