International guests are particularly welcome at Ryan's Rest and whether you are from the Pacific, Europe, the Americas, Asia or Africa we will do our best to ensure your feel welcome and enjoy your stay in Cairns.

Located in Terminus Street right next to Cairns Central, Ryan's Rest is part of the original railway estate built over 90 years ago to house railway workers. The building is a two story Classic Queenslander with 10 foot high ceilings and old world ambience. A unique accommodation experience that offers so much more than just 'staying in another hotel'.

We are one of the closest residential buildings to the centre of Cairns City and in a designated Character Precinct; Terminus Street contains many renovated houses that have been restored to their original character. Terminus Street is well lit and a short walk to all the bars, restaurants and shops in down town Cairns.

We have lots of different styles of accommodation including Boutique Dorms, Boutique Double Rooms, Private One Bedroom Suites and Private Two Bedroom Suites.
