Perfectly situated a short ferry ride from Perth, Rottnest Island is West Australia's unique Island Getaway. Located 19km west of Perth, the Island is 11km long and 4km at its widest point.

Accommodation is relaxed and comfortable in keeping with the laid back Island style. Self contained with either courtyard or balcony, all are located within a stone throw from the ocean. Choose between villas which have either a premium location or superb ocean view or units which offer the same comfortable facilities but with no view.

Hire Items (Must be ordered 24 hours in advance)
Items such as extra linen, folder beds, cots, high chairs can be hired. Pre-ordered items will be delivered to your unit on the day requested. Delivery times may vary, and depending on the items ordered, may not be delivered together. Order to have hire items delivered on the day of arrival, they must be booked and paid for through our Central Reservations at least 24hrs in advance. Once you have arrived on the Island, hire items may be booked and paid for at the Visitor Centre for delivery the following day. Hire items are not available for same day delivery. Getting There
You can take a ferry, plane or your own boat from Perth. A short ferry ride is the most popular way of getting to Rottnest. This property is NOT located on the mainland. You need to take the Ferry to Rottnest Island. Ferry must be organised and paid for separately. Ferry services run from Fremantle in the south, Barrack Street Jetty in Perth city and Hillarys Boat Harbour in Perth's north, subject to seasonality. To book contact Rottnest Express OR Rottnest Fast Ferries. The ferry operators will provide luggage labels that will include both your onward and return information. If you book your passage more than seven days in advance the ferry operator will send your luggage labels to your nominated address. Alternatively, if you book within seven days of departure you will receive labels at the ferry terminal and an additional charge will be incurred. If your return date changes during your stay, as long as you advise your ferry operator and your destination does not change, your return labels are still valid. Alternatively replacement labels can be obtained from the Visitor Centre on the island.

To ensure the smooth delivery of your luggage it is essential that it be correctly labelled with the ferry operator supplied tags. We are only able to deliver luggage up to a maximum weight of 22kg per piece.
Items such as bicycles, surfboards, kayaks, gas cylinders and fishing rods are unable to be delivered and need to be collected directly from the ferry on arrival at Rottnest.
Alcohol will not be delivered to Kingstown hostel, dormitories or the camping ground.

Parking Info
Vehicles are not permitted on Rottnest Island. Bicycles are the main mode of transport and are available to hire on the Island. Short and long term car parking options are available at the ferry terminals.
