Overview
Situated 2 1/2 hours north of Sydney in the foothills of Barrington Tops "World Heritage Wilderness". Riverwood Downs Mountain Valley Resort is set on the banks of a platypus stream surrounded by acres of parkland and gardens on a 750 acre cattle and horse property.

The Resort is set on the banks of a beautiful Platypus Stream, surrounded by 15 acres of Parkland and Gardens, and nestled in a 750 acre Cattle breeding and Horse property. The 750 acres and
5 kms of River Frontage provide a wonderful backdrop for outdoor and team building exercises.

Conference facilities include two modern conference rooms, fully air conditioned and heated. Wireless Broadband, Electronic Whiteboard, Flipcharts, Overhead Projector, Slide Projector, TV, Video and DVD. Recreational activities which can be included in your program at no extra charge are Horse Riding, Canoeing, Bush Volleyball, Pool Tables, Indoor Tennis, Table Tennis, Ball Games, Bushwalking. Getting There
From Sydney or the south of NSW:
Take the Sydney to Newcastle expressway north and follow it to it's end. At the roundabout turn right and follow the "Pacific Highway 1" signs to Hexham and left over the Hunter River bridge. You will bypass Raymond Terrace, following the "Taree" signs. On the Pacific Highway 20 kms north of the Raymond Terrace bypass Roundabout, turn left onto the "Bucketts Way" to Stroud (Gloucester & Barrington Tops). The turn off to "Riverwood Downs" is on your left, 17 kms beyond Stroud. Then just follow the signs 8 kms in to Riverwood Downs.

From Northern NSW:
Coming from the North, it depends whether you intend to travel on the New England or Pacific Highways. If you are on the New England Highway, you turn off the Highway at Singleton and proceed through Gresford to Dungog and then through to Monkerai and follow the signs to Riverwood Downs. If you are travelling on the Pacific Highway, turn right at Nabiac to Krambach. At Krambach turn left onto the Bucketts Way to Gloucester. From Gloucester, head south for about 35 kms towards Newcastle. You will pass through the villiages of "Stratford", "Craven" and "Wards River" and will find the turn to Monkerai on your right about
5 kms south of Wards River. Do watch for the turn off as it comes up rather quickly if you are travelling at Highway speed.
