Getting There
Driving: Thredbo is around five hours' drive from Sydney or Melbourne. The Kosciuszko Alpine Way between Thredbo and Jindabyne is clear of snow at most times during winter, so it is easily accessed by two wheel drive vehicle. Depending on conditions, every now and then snow chains may be required. These can be hired and picked up along with your free ski hire from the Snowy Valley Resort East Jindabyne next to the Mobil Service Station East Jindabyne.

Parking Info
Free parking directly across from the River Inn.
When entering Thredbo from Jindabyne on the Alpine Way, turn right to the Village and continue past the roundabout at Friday Flat. The River Inn is located 150 meters along on the right hand side. Drive up to the front entrance for luggage and passenger unloading.
