Risby Cove is Strahan's only waterfront motel accommodation, set in a sheltered cove on the site of an old sawmill. These luxury appointed units have been carefully designed to mirror the history of the site. The refurbished century old workshop has been converted into a fine gallery featuring an eclectic collection of work by Tasmanian artists. Huon pine and other rare species feature in interesting furniture and sculpture. Unique jewellery and pottery make this gallery a must see for visitors. In addition the resort provides for outdoor activities with mountain bikes, rowing dinghies,and jet boat rides on-site. A fully accredited massage therapist is also available on site. Within 5 minutes walk of the town centre and major attractions of cruise boats and trains.

From the town centre, head South along the Esplanade for 500 metres and turn right into Risby Cove.
