A few minutes walk to the south of Republic Apartments, is the city's shopping centre, including the Queen Street Mall and Central Rail Station. The area is ideal for walkers and joggers. An easy 2km jog across the Story Bridge and back, or 3kms return to the Botanic Gardens, along the Riverside Boardwalk.
Guest facilities and services: Include an outdoor, covered heated lap pool (kept at 28 degrees), spa (35 degrees), a large air-conditioned gymnasium and four above-ground levels of free car parking for guests only! A security fob is required to call modern hi-speed 20-person lifts, enter all car park areas and so controls access to all accommodation levels - ensuring a secure environment for our guests. As this is a non-smoking building, an ashtray is provided on each balcony and smokers are asked to keep their balcony doors shut.
Please note that in order to ensure that all our guests enjoy their stay Republic Apartments has a strict 'No Party and No Group Bookings Policy'. Persons violating this by-law will be made to vacate immediately.
Please note that on arrival at Republic Apartments guests will be asked to provide a valid credit card plus a Drivers Licence for identification. In addition a credit card pre-authorisation of $300 will be required to cover any incidental charges, including but not limited to, excess cleaning charges and the security of apartments and keys. Guests arriving outside our office hours are required to contact Republic Apartments direct prior to arrival to provide credit card details. Guests unable to meet these check-in requirements will not be granted access to our apartments and no refund will be made.

BY CAR: Drive down Turbot Street, which is a one-way street, in the right-hand lane past the Sofitel and Novotel Hotels. Cross Wharf Street and 100 mtrs and turn right into Raff Street. On the left you will turn into Republic Apartments' Visitor Parking area. Please note that you will need to walk around to the main entrance, at the front of the building, in Turbot Street.
BY TRAIN: From Brisbane's Central Station walk the 250 metres down Turbot Street which is a one-way street (in the same direction with the traffic) toward Chinatown, or take a taxi.
FROM BRISBANE AIRPORT: A 14kms (approx. $45)taxi ride will take no more than 25 minutes, even allowing for some traffic. Or, $16.00 per person by Air-train to Central Rail Station.
