Overview
Built during the temperance era in 1886, Reid's provided comfortable low cost accommodation. In the 21st century, Reid's Guest House continues this tradition catering to various travellers' needs, offering en-suite accommodation and backpacker quarters.

Much of this Heritage Listed building's original splendor can still be seen today. Reid's foyer features the original magnificent hand painted ceiling murals, carved timber stairway and colourful Art Nouveau leadlight windows it is a truly amazing building.

Reid's is situated in the heart of the city and within walking distance from Ballarat Railway Station, Her Majesty's Theatre, Cafes, Restaurants, Entertainment Venues and Shopping Centers. Hop on one of the busses just outside the front door and you can explore Ballarat's renowned tourist attractions such as Sovereign Hill, Ballarat Wildlife Park and Ballarat Botanical Gardens

Off street parking is locate behind the Guest House locked up between 21:00pm and 6:00am.
