Rainforest Ranch in Byfield, only 25 minutess from Yeppoon in Central Queensland, provides a unique accommodation experience. We have a dedicated commitment to hospitality and service. We designed our cottages for comfort and spaced them for privacy amongst the rainforest; a forest abundant in the beautiful Byfield fern that is unique to the area.

We offer a perfect retreat for couples wishing to get away from it all, in a place where you can relax in a totally stress free environment. Take some timeout for yourself. Our pool and spa are set in a beautiful lush tropical garden where you will find it easy to relax and chill out. Pamper yourself further by booking a poolside or in cottage massage.

The setting is perfect for romance. Whatever the reason – honeymoon, proposal, anniversary or for no reason at all, the peace, tranquility and seclusion offered by our cottages are part of the ingredients for an unforgettable romantic getaway. Rainforest Ranch cottages are fully self-contained. You can bring your own food or we can provide various food baskets on request with all you will need to cook up a scrumptious meal which you can enjoy while sitting on your screened veranda in the sheer joy and peacefulness of the forest. Or you may prefer to dine out. Rainforest Ranch is located close to Ferns Hideaway Restaurant. This and the popular Bush Café at The Byfield General Store provide great options and help complete a perfect Byfield experience.

The Cottages

Being in the middle of a rainforest doesn’t mean you have to rough it. All the cottages are well appointed and self-contained offering a high standard in accommodation. Large Ironbark posts supporting the high pitched roof allow for an open plan that is spacious and inviting. The cottages are all identical except for colour schemes and mirror image layout. They are set in beautiful rainforest and are spaced for privacy, providing the perfect escape for couples needing that special break.

Getting There
From Yeppoon travel 38km north via Farnborough Road and turn right onto Byfield Road. Alternatively from Rockhampton turn left into Neils Rd Just after passing golf driving range and 50m passed Rainforest Ranch billboard. Follow signs and you will end up on Byfield Rd. Travel approx 28 klms along Byfield Road and go past Byfield General Store for a further 2km. Turn right into Yaxleys Road. Rainforest Ranch is approximately 760M away on right on bitumen section.
