Rae's on Wategos is located directly on the breathtaking north facing Wategos beach, famous for its right hand point break with long boarders worldwide.
Byron Bay is Australia's most easterly point on the far north coast of NSW, Australia. Conveniently located close to the major cities of Brisbane ( 175 km north) and Sydney (800km south), the region is accessible to all travellers. Byron Bay enjoys a year round sub-tropical climate, with an average temperature of 25 degrees, making anytime of the year appropriate for a seaside visit.

Airport Transfer Personalised pick-up and delivery service for visitors wishing to travel from Ballina/Coolangatta/Brisbane airports to Byron Bay. Door to door service. Bicycles, surfboards and other large items do need prior notice. Ballina airport is 30 minutes drive from Byron Bay. Coolangatta airport is one hours drive to Byron Bay.
Car Hire Why not take the opportunity to explore the local surrounds at your own leisure. A great way to visit Byron Bay and the natural environment is to hire a car and arrange to have it there on your arrival at the airport. Local operators have quite an extensive range of vehicles to meet your needs.
Bus/Train Bus services run daily from Brisbane, Coolangatta, and Ballina to Byron Bay. Another option is the Countrylink rail service, travelling from Sydney to Brisbane. This service also allows for coach connections.
When entering the main street of Byron (coming from the Pacific Highway), take the Lawson Street turnoff from the roundabout (straight ahead). Continue along this road past Clarks Beach, following through onto Palm Valley Drive. Stay left, past the lighthouse turnoff, and then take the first left onto Marine Parade. We are located on the beach front to the left hand side.
