Getting There
Travel Directions

From Sydney (Federal Highway), Federal Highway becomes Northbourne Avenue as you approach Canberra's northern suburbs.
Continue along Northbourne Avenue. You will see the Tourist Information Centre on the left. Follow Northbourne Avenue through to the City Centre, straight through Vernon Circle and cross Lake Burley Griffin.
Veer left at the State Circle and veer onto Adelaide Avenue.
Follow Adelaide Avenue and you will see a huge roundabout.
Turn right at the roundabout to Melrose Drive after the first set of traffic lights turn left into the hotel, which is a bright mustard, cream, orange building on the corner of Launceston and Melrose.

From Melbourne (Barton Highway).
Entering Canberra on the Barton Highway, keep an eye out for 'Cockington Green', the 'Dinosaur Museum' on the left after passing Hall. Follow Barton Highway to end, turning right onto Northbourne Avenue (signs to City Centre).
Continue along Northbourne Avenue through to the city, straight through Vernon Circle and cross Lake Burley Griffin.
Veer left at the State Circle.

From Canberra Airport
Turn right out of airport onto Pialligo Avenue (signs to City Centre).
Turn left at roundabout on to Monaro Highway (signs to Fyshwick/Cooma).
Keep on the left lane and turn left at turn-off onto Newcastle Street.
Turn right at the set of traffic lights onto Hindmarsh Drive.
Follow Hindmarsh Drive (signs to Woden). You will see the Canberra Hospital on the right.
Follow Hindmarsh Drive to the Woden Central District.
Turn right at Melrose Drive at the traffic lights.
Turn right at Launceston Street.

From Cooma (Monaro Highway)
Enter Canberra along Monaro Hwy passing Tuggeranong to the left of the outskirts.
Exit left of the Monaro Hwy onto Hindmarsh Drive.
Follow Hindmarsh Drive signs to Woden. You will see the Canberra Hospital on the right.
Follow Hindmarsh Drive to the Woden Central District.
Turn right at Melrose Drive at the traffic lights.
Turn right at Launceston Street.

From Bateman's Bay (Kings Highway)
From Bungendore turn left onto Bungendore Highway toward Queanbeyan.
When you reach Queanbeyan head straight toward Canberra along Canberra Avenue.
Just before the last set of traffic lights turn right onto Hindmarsh Drive.
Follow Hindmarsh Drive to the Woden Central District.
Turn right at Melrose Drive at the traffic lights.
Turn right at Launceston Street.

Access to Canberra Stadium is a 30 minute drive, or a public bus service is available.
