Getting There
Airlines:
Virgin Blue have daily flights into the Fraser Coast Airport and Maroochydore Airport. A 1.45 hrs drive from the Fraser Coast Airport by coach via the Maryborough bypass road and from Maroochydore drive north along the Bruce Highway and turn off from Gympie. All roads are clearly marked. From Brisbane airport the drive will take 2.5 hours directly down the Bruce Highway with the turn off from Gympie. Coach transfers are available from each airport.

Rainbow Beach Air offer services for guests who need to fly from Brisbane, Maroochydore or Noosa to Rainbow Beach and return, for weekends, or any other needs that people may have. This is a Cessna 182 which will fly to Rainbow Beach from Brisbane in 50 minutes, Maroochydore in 35 minutes and Noosa in 25 minutes. This will give direct access if need be.
Gympie is on the main Queensland coastal rail track with services from Brisbane in the South and Cairns in the North. Serviced by the Sunlander, Tilt train and other local train services. Gympie is 45 minutes from Rainbow with connecting bus services to Rainbow Beach.
