The resort is perfectly positioned to launch all kinds of adventures. From Low Head, you can take a penguin tour to see the world’s smallest penguins clamber to their nests each night or visit the two main beaches, East Beach on Bass Strait, or the quieter and safer Lagoon Bay on the estuary. Picnic areas with electric barbecues are featured near both beaches.

Business Facilities
Just a 30 minute drive from Launceston the resort is easy to access and suited to medium sized conferences, meetings and events. The York Cove conference room is our only private space and caters for up to 55 delegates seated classroom style. Facilities within the room include a ceiling mounted data projector, wall mounted screen, wireless internet and tea and coffee making facilities. The doors to this contemporary room open to a private grass courtyard overlooking the Tamar River offering an ideal venue for intimate and low-key gatherings, including cocktails and canapés or a seafood barbeque.
Peppers York Cove also offers business services including broadband internet access, facsimile, photocopying, typing, and secretarial services including word-processing. Some of theses services will incur a charge, please contact reception for details.
Getting There
York Cove is a leisurely drive 50kms from Launceston in northern Tasmania and Peppers York Cove is situated in the township of George Town on the Tamar River. Local car hire is available from any of the airports that operate in Tasmania and transport to York Cove can be arranged if required by contacting York Cove direct.

All of the apartments offer private, off street parking. Free off-street parking for hotel guests, with up to 50 car spaces available.
