Set within the natural beauty of the lush rainforest hinterland, Peppers Coorabell Retreat offers recently refurbished Rainforest and Hinterland View suites that allow you to relax and take in the natural beauty of the surroundings. All rooms include a separate lounge room, private balcony, tea & coffee making facilities, Austar, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, direct dial STD/ISD phones, iron/ironing board and hairdryer.
Onsite recreational activities focus on relaxing and making the most the retreat’s tranquil hinterland surrounds. You can spend your entire escape onsite enjoying a barbeque down by the banks of Wilson Creek or during the warmer months you can laze by the lagoon pool. You can also choose to spoil yourself with a soothing in-room massage or revitalising beauty treatment.
During your escape to the retreat you can enjoy a delicious picnic prepared by chefs at Wilson’s by the Creek restaurant or dine in and enjoy the freshest produce available in the Byron Bay region as well as herbs, fruit and vegetables grown onsite.
At the retreat you are just a 15 minute drive away from Byron Bay, where you can enjoy the sandy white beaches, surfing, seasonal whale watching, fishing, scuba diving and an eclectic collection of boutiques and cafes.

Business Facilities
Located just an hour south of Gold Coast Airport and two hours south of Brisbane’s Domestic and International Airports, Peppers Coorabell Retreat is the ideal location for small company conferences, intimate events, executive board meetings, corporate retreats and incentives, team building seminars and workshops for up to 70 delegates.
Onsite there are a number of venues to choose from depending on your group size and requirements. For larger groups, onsite restaurant, Wilson’s by the Creek can cater for up to 80 delegates theatre style or banquet style while the bordering verandah to the restaurant offers a more intimate and informal atmosphere perfect for up to 18 delegates. For smaller meetings again one of the interconnecting suites may also be suitable.
The vast grounds surrounding the retreat offer an abundance of experiences for conference groups. Whether a teambuilding exercise is what you have in mind or a memorable Byron Bay experience such as whale watching or hang gliding the retreat can assist you in making the right choice.
Getting There
From the south - Following Pacific Highway going past Bangalow turn-off. Turn left into Coolamon Scenic Drive. Travel for 7km passing Coorabell Public School sign on right. Pass Mullumbimby/Crystal Castle turn-off on right. Take the next right-hand turn into Newes Road. Travel along this road to the very end (approximately 2km) and you will see the retreat.
From the north - Bypass Byron Bay turn-off, proceeding along Pacific Highway to Ballina. Approximately 4km after Byron Bay turn-off you will turn right into Coolamon Scenic Drive. Follow directions as above.
