Lovingly restored to reflect the building's charming heritage and character, the retreat offers 17 guest rooms with french doors and deep verandas with views over beautiful gardens and the Hunter Valley vineyards. All rooms feature double beds and boutique individual furniture pieces, an ensuite bathroom with bath, hairdryer, individually controlled air-conditioning and heating,refrigerator and minibar, tea/ coffee making facilities, direct dial STD/ISD telephone, bathrobes in every room, complimentary grooming items, iron/ironing board and an LCD television with movies on-demand.
The retreat is surrounded by boutique wineries and endless outdoor recreation options. Start the day with a hit of tennis or explore the estate by bicycle. In the afternoon why not indulge in a relaxing massage at the endota spa. Located only a short stroll from the retreat is the renowned and highly awarded, Roberts Restaurant.
Encompassing the 1878 National Trust listed Pepper Tree Cottage, Roberts’ has been described as the Hunter Valley's most beautiful dining room and of course the food is divine.
If getting out and about is more to your liking there is a range of activities including hot air ballooning, golf, bushwalks, horse riding, 4WD tours and cheese tasting at the Hunter Valley Cheese Company.

Getting There
Take the F3 or National Highway #1 north of Sydney. Once you are on the freeway, after travelling through areas such as Chatswood, Gordon etc you will stay on this freeway for about 75 minutes. You will see a turn off for "Cessnock" take this exit and this becomes highway #82. Follow the signs through to Cessnock and turn right into Vincent Street. Follow this all the way to the end and turn left, then right very quickly into Allandale Road. Follow Allandale Road for 3 km and you will see Cessnock airport on your left hand side. After Cessnock airport, take the first left into Broke Road and we are about 1km on the left hand side - turn left into Halls Road and follow the road until you see the Pepper Tree Estate.
Parking Info
There is ample car parking onsite with an area at the front of the property to unload your belongings.
