Overview
Pastoral Hotel Motel offers 13 newly refurbished air conditioned motel units. They feature 42 plasma TVs with cable, secure internet access, ensuite, refrigerator, microwave, tea and coffee, toaster, ironing board and iron. Disabled facilities and interconnecting rooms can also be arranged by request (subject to availability).

It's just 400 metres to the home of the Pichi Richi Steam Train and Railway Station (where the Ghan and Indian Pacific go through Port Augusta) and short stroll to the main shopping area (Commercial Road). The Hotel has a bistro, bar, gaming, TAB and Keno plus a bottle shop.

Parking including spaces for large vehicles available as well as parking for boats, trailors, bikes etc.

Getting There
From the train station (situated on Stirling Road): Walk up the hill to the right and stroll along Stirling Road for approximately 400 metres until you come to a park. The Hotel is on the opposite corner situated on corner of Carlton Parade and Stirling Road.

The Airport is located on the western side of town and it would be necessary to catch a taxi.

If you are travelling light there is a bus station on Mackay Street. Turn right at Elders Insurance and walk along Flinders Terrace, go over the railway bridge, and then stroll along Stirling Road, which runs parallel with the railway station. You will come across the park with the Hotel on the corner of Stirling Road and Carlton Parade.

Car parking is available out the front of each unit with enough area for large vehicle parking.

We can arrange to lock up trailors after closing hours if required.
