Overview
Palm View, a small, high-quality holiday apartment complex located in a lush, tropical garden setting. All of our 1 bedroom superior apartments are self rated 4. Our Studio Villa Cabin and Family apartment are self-rated 3.5 however are still self-contained as all of our apartments are. We now have Foxtel with 25 channels including the Fox Sports Channels and Movie Channels in all of our apartments.

Perfectly positioned, 100 metres to the beach at Queens Bay and centrally located to all of Bowen's delights. A scenic walking track begins adjacent to our property and parks, an ocean front golf course is just a short stroll away. Local bus service available from our front door.

Relax by our sparkling pool or visit one of the beautiful beaches (some of the best North Queensland has to offer). Make use of our fully-equipped covered barbecue area which even includes the kitchen sink.

All of the apartments are self-contained with full kitchens and include everything you need to enjoy your holiday. Apartments are not serviced daily; however, bookings of 7 nights or longer receive weekly servicing. Fresh towels are provided in-between weekly servicing or every 3rd day for shorter bookings. We do not have meals available on site; however, your apartment has everything you need to either whip up a gourmet meal on the stove or in the oven or zap a meal in the microwave if you prefer.

The outer Great Barrier Reef lies about 40km off the coast. We are located at the top of Whitsundays and offer live, unspoilt, fringing reefs consisting of beautiful coral and reef fish right off our beaches. Come for a shore dive with us or grab some snorkelling gear and see the exciting and colorful underwater world. Outer reef and island excursions departing from Airlie Beach and Alva Beach/Ayr are available through the on site tour desk.

We are a PADI Dive Resort, specialising in personalised quality attention. We offer Intro Scuba Dives, and learn to dive courses up to Divemaster level (guaranteed small personalised classes). Rental equipment for snorkelling and scuba and airfills onsite.

Pilots most welcome. Free pick up service from local airfield. Aircraft hangar storage by arrangement.

Prior to booking, please be advised that because we are "holiday apartments" and not a "motel" we do not have a 24 hour "staffed" reception. Our management team can be reached by telephone 24 hours per day (as well as any time the office is unoccupied) to address any needs guests may have. If your needs require the service of a person "manning" a desk 24 hours per day, we cannot meet those needs however, you will have access to assistance by telephone 24 hours per day.

Getting There
Bus service runs daily north and south along Bruce Highway. Tilt Train and Sunlander services Bowen. Fly into Whitsunday (Proserpine) Airport and either rent a car or use Airport Transport Service available via local travel agent -MUST be Pre-booked with Bowen Travel (we are approximately 45 mins drive).
