Overview
Currently celebrating the hotel's 100 year anniversary, The Palais Royale Boutique Hotel is a gorgeous property with a convinient location. We aim to provide our guests with excellent customer service and comfort. We are a 20 minute walk from Echo Point and Scenic World, and five minutes from Katoomba's romantic restaurant and bar district.

All rooms are spacious and feature heritage style decor, ensuite with shower and/or bath, full reverse cycle air conditioning, 80cm LED TV, tea, coffee and ironing facilites, hairdryer and telephone.

Enjoy our three lounge areas with a glass of red wine or tea or coffee whilst reminiscing on the days adventures. Our 16th century detailed ballroom is also available for bookings, which the reception staff is more than eager to display.

A full hot buffet style mountain Breakfast is available and is served in our heritage style dining room in the morning. It is open for breakfast 07.30am-09.30am seven days a week. For lunch and dinner, take advantage of the many cafes and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.

Relax in the complementary in house Sauna and Spa open daily from 9:30am until 9:00pm.

Getting There
For travel by car follow the M4 motorway from Sydney, which becomes the Great Western Highway as you travel into the mountains. Follow the highway until you reach the sign directing to Echo Point and Katoomba town centre and turn left over the railway bridge. Turn left again at the roundabout after the bridge and then take the first right into Katoomba street. Follow the road until the end of the shops and then come across the crossroad at the bottom (Waratah Street). You will find us three buildings down from the crossroad on the left. For travel by train take the train from Sydney Central and alight at Katoomba. Here you can either walk down the main street to the hotel, catch a taxi or bus, both of which stop at the station.
