Overview
The old bridle path by the water is just a few doors away, making The Getaway a ten minute stroll to Nelson Bay's marina, shops and restaurants, and Dutchies Beach only a 3 minute walk. The Getaway has 2 accommodation options:
Beautiful new 4.5 star B&B accommodation in a traditionally styled beach-house, designed for comfort and privacy. Rooms have Queen and King beds, ensuite bathrooms, one with spa, private balconies - perfect for sipping champagne at sunset, TV, A/C, tea making etc. Each room has a different style and ambience. You are assured of a relaxing stay in quiet, very pleasant surrounds. Tariff includes a fresh breakfast delish. PLEASE PROVIDE MOBILE NUMBER so eta can be confirmed.

Getting There
Take the F3 Freeway north out of Sydney to the end. (1.25 hrs from start of freeway to end)At the roundabout at the end of the Freeway, turn right (Hungry Jacks etc. on left)and right again, briefly towards Newcastle, but go over the Hexham Bridge. The signs say North Coast and Taree.
After only 2 kilometres, take the Tomago Road to the right. The sign says Williamtown and Airport. After 10 mins you'll come to the roundabout on Nelson Bay Road, with a church, school and petrol station - turn left. You'll go past the Airport and RAAF Base, through several roundabouts until you come to Nelson Bay, and Church Street. Follow the signs to Dutchman's Bay. At the roundabout with the Police Station on the left, the Central Motel on the right, and a multistorey building on the right, head straight through the roundabout and towards the water. Thurlow Avenue is the only street on the left. The Getaway is at No 31, and the entrance is at 31, not underneath the building, where a code is required for entry.
Public Transport: Coaches depart Central 2 pm daily. Arrive 5.35pm. Ot take a train to newcastle and then bus out to Nelson Bay. Then the Getaway is about 5 min walk.
