Overview
Built of rammed earth in a style uniquely Outback Australian, the Mud Hut Motel offers excellent 3 1/2 and 4 star accommodation at reasonable prices. Built in 1993, the motel provides quiet, friendly accommodation in the heart of Opal Country - Coober Pedy, SA.
24 of our rooms are 3 1/2 star spacious motel style - ensuite, queen beds, TV, direct dial phones, tea & coffee making, fridge - comfortably sleeping a family of 4.
4 of our rooms are 4 star 2 bedroom apartments with cooking facilites, separate toilet and bathroom, and lounge are. Comfortably sleeping up to 6.
Parking is outside each door, we have a laundry on site, hire car available, and quality opal sales.
NOTE: Pets allowed on site (sleeping in cars), but strictly not in rooms.
Please note that the Mud Hut offers free transfers to and from Coober Pedy Airport. However, guests must inform the motel in advance if they wish to make use of this service. Please mention in Special Requests. Please note that if this transfer service is not arranged in advance, the motel cannot guarantee that transfers will be possible, and surcharges will apply.
