Moulton Park is central to all the attractions of The Dandenong Ranges. Walk in the forest, walk eight minutes to the nearby quaint Sassafras Village, drive 2km to Olinda Village, drive 3km to Mount Dandenong Village, explore antique and craft shops, take a trip to a time long ago when steam transport was king on the Dandenong's world famous Puffing Billy Steam Train which is just 4km away, take tea in truly delightful tearooms or dine at any one of the eclectic restaurants in the area (approaching nearly 30 within a 4km radius of the property). Further afield take a bush walk in any one of the three separate rainforests contained within the Dandenong Ranges, or visit the 60 unique wineries of the Yarra Valley, all within an hour's drive of Moulton Park.

Keepers Cottage

The Keepers is the larger of the two cottages at Moulton Park. Beautifully appointed and richly decorated, the Keeper's Cottage provides you with a spacious interior and creature comforts including:

This recently redecorated Victorian cottage, with unique, vintage charm and appeal is the original gatehouse to the Moulton Park. The cottage features all modern conveniences including:

Moulton Park Homestead

A delightful three bedroom Homestead built in 1910 with expansive wrap around verandahs, ducted heating, two majestic log fireplaces and two delightful bathrooms. Full Kitchen and laundry facilities. Sleeps up to six persons.

Canterbury Suite

Elegant private entrance suite containing king size bed, newly refurbished bathroom with free standing bath, flat screen TV, DVD player and surround sound. Maximum of two guests.

Milford Suite

Spacious private entrance suite containing a queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with spa bath flat screen TV, DVD player and surround sound. Maximum of two guests.

How to get there

By car

From Melbourne airport take Tullamarine Freeway into Melbourne (it becomes a tollway from the intersection with Bell Street, phone 132629 and can pay the toll on your credit card up to 24 hours after your trip). After crossing the Bolte Bridge turn left at the sign 'south eastern suburbs' and proceed through the Burnley tunnel remaining on what is now known as the South Eastern or Monash Freeway. Continue travelling on the same freeway to the exit for Ferntree Gully Road on your left, exit and travel along Ferntree Gully road for 8km until the intersection with Burwood Highway. Turn right at this intersection and travel another 3km until you get to the base of the mountain where you will see a 'Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, Olinda' sign. Turn left and travel 7km to the intersection with Heathersett Road. Turn left and travel to the end of the road where you turn right at the fork in the road and this is now Cooloongatta Road and take the first driveway on the right.

By public transport

Catch the Belgrave line train from any of the city's railway stations and go to either Upper Ferntree Gully Station (where you can catch the Ventura Bus Line Route 688 bus) or Belgrave Station (where you can catch the Ventura Bus Line Route 694 bus) to the intersection of the Mount Dandenong Tourist Road and Heathersett Road. Disembark and walk 500 metres along Heathersett Road to the fork at the end and turn Right into Cooloongatta Road and we are the first driveway on the Right.
