Conveniently located in Sydney's southern CBD at the corner of Pitt and Campbell Streets and opposite the Capitol Theatre, the Metro Hotel Sydney Central offers 220 well appointed guest rooms and suites on 10 accommodation floors.
Located just minutes away from Sydney attractions Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay Wharf, Star City Casino, Sydney Entertainment Centre, Paddy's Markets and the city's dining and cinema districts.
Metro Hotel Sydney Central is a short walk for business guests to all major corporate and government offices and for those attending one of the many national or international conferences and trade shows at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, the hotel is just a pleasant 10 minute journey.
Public transportation form Metro Hotel Sydney Central is conveniently close with Town Hall Station, Central Station and the Coach Terminal all just a short walk. Metro Light Rail and Monorail services are only a few footsteps from the hotel. Buses to all parts of the city are only one block away on George Street.
All rooms have high speed Internet connection and for guests travelling without a laptop we also have an Internet Kiosk located in the lobby area (charges apply).
Security is our priority, with a 24 hour staffed reception desk and all guest floors accessed only by personal security key card.
Guests will also be able to request a smoking or non-smoking levels. Whilst we try to meet all requests these cannot be guaranteed.

Conference/Function Rooms
Metro Hotel Sydney Central Function Room is located on the 1st floor with direct external access to Pitt Street. Access is also available through stairs from the reception area or via our lifts. There is a well sized pre-function gathering area outside the room with space to comfortably fit a registration desk. Metro Hotel Sydney Central Boardroom is located on the second floor in addition to Indigo on Capitol Restaurant. Indigo on Capitol Restaurant is located on the second floor. It has lift access and also an outdoor courtyard. Indigo on Capitol can only be hired in sections for large group bookings.

Getting There
Located directly opposite Capitol Theatre and less than 500 metres from Central Railway Station. Private airport shuttle bus services stop at the door.
By car: From George Street, right at Barlow Street into Pitt Street (near Central Railway Station), turn into Campbell Street. Hotel is on the corner of Pitt and Campbell streets.
Parking Info
Secure under cover car parking is available at World Square Carparking at a cost of $30.00 per vehicle per night(one entry&one exit).The car park entrance is located on Pitt Street. Continue north along Pitt Street from the hotel. And immidiately on your left is the car park entry (World Square Car Park). Approach the boom gate and take a ticket.
