Overview
Merrow Cottages is well known for its romantic and artistic atmosphere. Only 45 minutes away from the Melbourne CBD nestled in Mount Dandenong. Once you arrive you will enjoy the intimacy of our charming cottages and suites we have to offer.

Merrow Cottages offers Merrow House B&B with three spacious guest rooms, all with private bathrooms. Our cottages are The Gatehouse with king bed, ensuite, spa, hair products, kitchen, TV, DVD, CD player and open fire with real stone hearth. Our Forest Edge cottage offers four queen poster beds, ensuite, spa, hair products, TV, DVD, CD player and open fire with real stone hearth. Both cottages also have towel warmers and double quality spa bath. Also included in your nightly tariff is a traditional breakfast.

Merrow Cottages is a secluded retreat for couples and does not offer the facilities available to cater for children within the Bed and Breakfast. Children are however welcome to stay in the Gatehouse and Forest Edge Cottages.

We offer local knowledge on things to do in Mount Dandenong and assistance with a great range of restaurants. At Merrow Cottages we ensure all efforts are made to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Getting There
From Tullamarine airport, you can take the SKYBUS, a reliable, low cost airport bus that runs express between Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine) and Southern Cross Station in Melbourne’s city centre, 24/7 with day departures every 10 minutes (City airport express, AU$17 per adult).

From Avalon Airport, you can take SITA COACHES, operates the Avalon Airport, with transfers between Melbourne and Avalon Airport.

Once in Southern Cross Railway Station, take the local train (direction BELGRAVE) and get off at Upper Ferntree Gully station. Then take the bus number 688 which leaves right in front of the station. The bus will go up the Mount Dandenong tourist Road.

The road to our property is called Hume Lane and is just after very well-known “TATRA” reception centre. Ask the driver to get off at the nearest bus stop.

Parking Info
The Gatehouse and Forest Edge cottages have their own private parking next to the cottage entrance. For guest staying at Merrow House B&B parking is right in front of the main house entrance.
