Mercure Cairns Harbourside is located in between Cairns Airport and the CBD overlooking Trinity Bay at the northern end of the Esplanade.
The hotel offers 173 large hotel rooms and suites all with ensuite and balcony. The view from the rooms over looks the mountain range enclosing the city skyline or the water views of Trinity Bay. A leisurely 20 minute stroll into town along the esplanade foreshore development is now made easier with free shuttle transfers to and from the city every hour.
Mercure Cairns has two dining outlets that front the Esplanade and the sea:
Teshi's serves a breakfast buffet daily from 6am for a light or full breakfast. We open Teshi's again in the evening with an a'la carte menu for dinner that focuses on the region's bounty of tropical produce.
Blue Mango is the hotel's licenced cafe open from 10am til late; serving drinks and a selection of bistro style snacks.

Getting There
From Cairns Airport: (4km)
Follow Airport Ave to the end and turn left onto Sheridan St. Take the next left turn onto Moffat St which turns into Lake St. Drive 4 and a half blocks south along Lake Street, where Mercure Cairns Harbourside appears on the left hand side. If you see Cairns Base Hospital, you've gone too far.
From the South Bruce Highway:
The Bruce Hwy driving into Cairns becomes Mulgrave Road. Follow this road for about 5 minutes then turn left onto Lake St. Drive 3 blocks north along Lake street, where Mercure Cairns Harbourside appears on the right hand side (just past the Cairns Base Hospital).

Secure undercover parking is available from the Lake street entrance, as well as off-street parking.
